Service Description

You need to have completed part 1 of the workshop before taking part 2. During part 2 of this workshop you will build the wooden box that houses the glass layers and assemble the shadow box. You will learn to use a miter saw to cut the frame and a jig saw to cut the face. If time allows, you will learn how to use a router to sculpt the face. Once the box is built, you will learn how to assemble the glass layers and add the lighting to complete your project. The workshop is limited to 4 participants so you will have plenty of one on one instruction. Chose from one of our patterns or design your own. No experience required but an aptitude for fine motor skills is strongly advised All material included. Bring a lunch and enjoy it by the pond or on the picnic table.
