Service Description

This 6-hour workshop is great for those who have always wanted to make a mosaic. In this class you will learn the skills and techniques for designing and completing a mosaic paver or tray. You will learn the design principles of mosaic, how to cut tiles, assemble them on a sticky film, transfer them onto your base, cement and grout them. In the morning (10:30-2:30) you will design your mosaic, assemble the tiles and transfer them onto the paver base or the wooden tray. Then we will break for lunch while the mortar sets (2:30-3:30). Bring a bagged lunch and eat it by the pond or on the picnic table Finally you will grout your mosaic (3:30-4:30). Your mosaic will be ready to take home. If you have already created your own tiles during our "make your own tiles" workshop, please chose the "bring your own tile" option at checkout. No experience required. All material included
