Service Description

In this workshop you will design a mosaic and create your own glass tiles using glass clay. You will not be crating a finished mosaic piece during this class, only the tiles. You will learn to mix and roll the clay, transfer a pattern onto the clay, cut the clay into tiles of a shape of your choice and then color your tiles using enamels. Your tiles will then be fired into a solid glass tiles (this may take up to a week). You will be notified when the tiles are ready. You can then take them home and finish your mosaic at home or join one of our one day mosaic workshop to create a paver (or any other project you would like to discuss). Once you have completed your first project you may want to continue on to a more difficult design. You can then sign up for our open studio. Includes all material for the tiles only.
